Advisory Group Members Wanted

We’re seeking new members for two of our advisory groups and would love to hear from you. The groups meet monthly with additional work between meetings. They receive a small meeting allowance.

Help make Wellington an accessible city

Does a part in ensuring Wellington City is accessible for all people regardless of their ability, and for future generations, sound like you?

Here is your opportunity – join the Council’s Accessibility Advisory Group.

The group raises awareness and understanding of disability and accessibility issues, and advises the Council on policies and projects.

Environmental enthusiasts wanted

Do you have good links to local initiatives or work experience in environmental issues?

The Council’s Environmental Reference Group needs your expertise. The group advises the Council on management of the city’s natural environment and environmental policies.
