See China's Art at Te Papa

As part of the Council’s support for Te Papa, Wellington residents and ratepayers can enjoy two extraordinary exhibitions free-of-charge for one day only: 10am–9pm this Thursday 29 May.

To gain free entry to Throne of Emperors and Shi Lu, all you need is to bring proof that you live in Wellington City – a Wellington City rates invoice, libraries card or a utilities bill showing your home address. 

Last entry to the galleries is 8pm.

The usual admission charge is $10 for an adult. This offer is a popular feature of our partnership with Te Papa and is subject to availability – please be prepared to queue!
