Library Book Sale

3 May 2013

Thousands of books, CDs, DVDs, magazines and journals will be on sale at bargain prices when the sale starts at the Central Library on Tuesday 7 May.

The sale helps Wellington’s libraries clear space for newer books and other items – so there is always a huge variety of material on offer – and it’s all in good condition.

Every year thousands of avid readers and music lovers gather for the sale. If you can’t make it at opening time then don’t despair – because stock is replenished at regular intervals during the sale ensuring there are always fresh bargains to be found.

The sale includes even more DVDs and music scores than ever before. And they really are bargains – prices start from 50 cents for magazines, with most other items between $1 and $6 and some marked prices.

The sale is on at the Central Library, 65 Victoria Street, from Tuesday 7 May, 9.30am.
