It's here again - the day all Wellington City residents get to see the big exhibition at Te Papa for free. This time it's for Unveiled - a wedding exhibition. The Visa Platinum Gallery space is full of silks, Victorian lace, exquisite shoes, hats and other wedding-related paraphernalia - some dating from the 1800s.

You'll know some of the names as well - Vivienne Westwood, Christian Lacroix and our very own WORLD, to name a few.

Entry to the exhibition on Level 4 is free on Thursday 23 February, from 10.00am to 9.00pm.

The free entry offer is part of our sponsorship agreement with Te Papa.

To gain entry, all you need to do is provide proof of address. This can be a utilities bill, your rates bill or your Wellington City Libraries card.

Anyone working or otherwise engaged during the day will be pleased to know Te Papa is open until 9.00pm - so no one misses out. Be prepared for queues - there has often been up to an hour's wait for entry on previous 'free' days.
