Thomas Oliver Band Gets the Nudge

11 January 2011

The Thomas Oliver Band concert - due to take place tomorrow evening at the Botanic Garden's Soundshell - has been cancelled because of an injury.

A concert will still go ahead by Wellington band, Nudge. Fresh from a support tour with the Black Seeds and just about to release an album, Nudge promise a night of original psychedelic blues and wailing vocals. The three-piece band is made up of well-known Wellington musicians - Ryan Prebble, Iraia Whakamoe and Jimmy Coyle.

This is the first concert in the ASB Gardens Magic series that runs until the end of the month. Raashi Malik performs on Thursday, followed by Poppy Dust on Friday evening.

Full details of the ASB Gardens Magic series can be found in the NZCT Summer City brochures - available from City Council pools, recreation centres and stands around town.
