Central Library Book Sale

8 December 2009

Book lovers across the city look forward to the Central Library's annual summer sale - a time where you can enter the library with a handful of coins and leave with your arms full of books for the shelves at home.

The sale helps our libraries clear space for newer books and other items - so there is always a huge variety of material on offer - and it's all in good condition.

Prices start at 50 cents for magazines, and books range from $1 to $6.

The sale starts 8 December at 9.30am. Don't worry if you can't make it on the day, however, as the stock is replenished on a regular basis.

The sale will be on until Monday
21 December at the Central Library,
65 Victoria Street.
