We're launching a project to develop a 30-year framework for Wellington's central city and we want your help to develop a vision that sets out the sort of central city we want. We want to hear what you think about our central city – what you like or don't like about it, how it could be improved over the long-term and what the priorities should be.
The final framework will provide a future vision for the central city, identify key issues and opportunities and help us coordinate how we manage the CBD.
Have your say – pick up a Wellington 2040 brochure from your local library or our service centre in Wakefield Street. Fill out the questionnaire at the back of the brochure and return it to us using the freepost envelope.
Alternatively, you can complete the questionnaire online in the 'Public Input' section of our website, or share your ideas on Facebook – type in 'Wellington 2040' at www.facebook.com.
You can also discuss your ideas with Council staff at the following drop-in sessions at the Council offices, 101 Wakefield Street.
Tuesday 15 September: 1.00pm - 3.00pm in the Korimako Room
(Committee Room 2)
Thursday 17 September: 5.00pm - 7.00pm in Te Mahanga Room (Committee Room 1)
