Resolution to Exclude the Public

THAT Council:

Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987, exclude the public from the following part of the proceedings of this meeting namely:

Report 9: Strategy and Policy Committee, Meeting of Thursday 9 November 2006

Grounds: Section 48(1)(a) That public conduct of the whole or the relevant part of the proceedings would likely to result in the disclosure of information for which good reason for withholding would exist

Reason: Section 7(2)(i) To enable the Council to carry out, without prejudice or disadvantage, negotiations of a commercial nature.

Report 10: Strategy and Policy Committee, Meeting of 23 November 2006

Grounds: Section 48(1)(a) That the public conduct of this item would be likely to result in the disclosure of information for which good reason for withholding would exist under Section 7.

Reason: Section 7(2)(a) To protect the privacy of natural persons, including that of deceased natural persons.
