Colette Devlin from the Dominion Post requested a copy of Wellington City Council’s internal Culture and Climate survey, its findings and all correspondence in relation to the survey. Below are the 2017 survey results and and an update on how we’re continuing to improve our culture.

Request from the NZ Taxpayers' Union for information on the funding provided to Wellington Fashion Week by the Council. We responded, by email, to their questions as follows:
Swimming pool trespass notices
Fairfax Media requested information on the number of trespass notices issued in relation to the Council-owned public swimming pools in the past 3 years, and the reasons for the issuing of the trespass notices. We responded by email and advised:
I am able to advise you that in the past 3 years to date there has been only one (1) Trespass Act section 4 trespass notice, issued preventing a person from accessing Council-owned swimming pools. This occurred in February 2014, and is therefore expired (Under the Trespass Act, a section 4 trespass is for 2 years from the date of service). The trespass was issued for abusive and threatening behaviour.
Request from NZ Taxpayers' Union for information held on economic reports on a proposed runway extension at Wellington International Airport, and the possibility of higher landing charges for airlines.
Request from the New Zealand Herald for data held concerning the number of staff disciplines for breaching Council computer usage rules and/or social networking policies.
Merger with Porirua City Council

Wellington-Canberra-Singapore air service
Request from the Dominion Post (Hamish Rutherford) in January 2016 for any written material used by the Council's chief executive Kevin Lavery in coming to his decision to provide marketing support from the Destination Wellington fund to the proposed Wellington-Canberra-Singapore air service. We responded with the following letter and attachments on 29 April 2016.
