Come along and play the newest sport to hit Ākau Tangi Sports Centre.
Pickleball is growing in popularity because it appeals to a wide range of ages. Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis.
It’s easy on joints, while still being great for building fitness. Bring the family or a friend and give it a go!
Pay at reception on entry. No need to pre-book. A Pickleball court can be hired by calling 04 830 0500.

Social Sports
Social Sports are great way to meet others in the community and have fun. We play pickleball, table tennis and badminton all of which have many benefits including improving hand eye coordination, general fitness and mental sharpness.
