The Friendly Cyclist safety tips

The Friendly Cyclist series offers tips on how to be safe when biking around Wellington.

Some of the safety tips include:

  • How to negotiate intersections and shared lanes
  • Positioning on the road and passing stopped traffic
  • Making hand signals and eye contact with drivers
  • Being a courteous rider.
