Council has identified two locations at the Wellington waterfront, suitable for use as retail units.
Both sites are currently vacant shells and require full fitting out in order to be utilised. This Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI) invites organisations to consider using each facility for meeting the present needs of the community.
The proposed fit out and use of each site is intended to add further vibrancy and activity to the Wellington waterfront. This REOI is open to capable participants wishing to progress a future use of each facility.

FKP Kiosk
A new kiosk located to the side of the Queen's Wharf main vehicle access close to the children's playground at Frank Kitts Park (FKP Kiosk). The adjacent public toilets attached to the FKP Kiosk will be maintained by Council.
Straddle Carrier
A 40 foot shipping container forming part of the straddle carrier located at Queens Wharf (Straddle Carrier). The Straddle Carrier is located at the water's edge and in the vicinity of the Crab Shack, Dockside, Fergs Rock and Kayak, Wellington Indoor Sport, Wellington Helicopters and Switched on Bikes, as well as public toilets.
