The Alexandra Road play area is categorised as one of our basic local playgrounds, which typically cater for young children and feature a set of modular play equipment.
The space is limited in size but a small area has been provided as a grassed open free space.
The Council budgeted a spend of $68,780 on this project.
Alexandra Road play area changes
The upgrade included:
- Remodelling the existing fort for climbing and sliding activities.
- New swings including a birds nest swing
- New seesaws
- A monkey bar
- A soccer net
- A picnic table and seats
