Background information

Sar Street and Barnard Street are inner-city, narrow roads that wind up the Eastern side of Wadestown. These streets are frequently used for day parking by people who working in the central city. The level of parking and width of the road is leading to health and safety issues for residents. Vehicles such as fire engines, ambulance and maintenance vehicles are unable to travel the road. There is also risk of car accident.
