Wellington City Council events

New Zealand is now at Alert Level 4. This means that gatherings of any size are cancelled and public outdoor and indoor venues are closed.

We are not currently accepting new bookings of outdoor event spaces and/or events equipment. We are constantly monitoring developments and this restriction will be regularly reviewed.

We know these are enormously testing times for us all, and for New Zealand’s events sector. The Council is focused on the resilience of Wellington and its events community.
Please keep in touch with the City Events team regarding expressions of interest for future events (both regular annual events and new). Your request, the current Covid19 alert level and capacity/availability of venues will all be taken into consideration.

Check back for updates.
