What happened to this consultation?

Wellington City Council sought feedback on the proposal to expand the quarry so it can continue operating for up to 20 years.

The feedback has been summarised and included in a report that went to the Council’s City Strategy Committee on Thursday 22 February 2018

The report recommended the maximum development of the southern face of the quarry (option four in this consultation).

The Council has prepared District Plan change 83 which seeks to rezone part of the quarry to enable this expansion and development.
