PROPOSAL TO ‘STOP’ AND SELL LEGAL ROAD – MAUPUIA ROAD, MIRAMAR Wellington City Council, under section 342(1) (a) and Schedule 10 of the Local Government Act 1974, proposes to ‘stop’ a 91m² portion of legal road in Maupuia Road, Miramar. Council has determined that it no longer requires this land for public road purposes and has no other purpose for the land. The land (Sections 1-3 SO 517423) 42 Maupuia Road, Miramar (Lot 2 D.P. 315384, held on CFR 60645. Once the 91m² of legal road land is stopped Section 1 will be sold to the owner of 42 Maupuia Road, Miramar and amalgamated with the title to their land. Sections 2 and 3 will remain in Council ownership. Any future buildings or activities on the land will be governed by the Wellington City Council District Plan once stopped.
