Following on from the 2016 review of the Wellington Consolidated Bylaw 2008, Part 2: Animals, we have developed a Domestic Animal Policy and factsheets on four animal groups to encourage responsible animal ownership in Wellington.
The policy and factsheets provide advice on caring for animals, and have information on responsibilities and requirements under the bylaws.
The policy does not add any new regulatory requirements.
