Get Funding for Your Ideas to Commemorate First World War Centenary

2 May 2014

August 2014 will mark 100 years since New Zealand’s declaration of war. A range of events and projects are planned to take place in Wellington, many around the legacy project National War Memorial Park.

We’re working with the WW100 Office to develop and coordinate local events that will commemorate WW100.

If you’re a Wellington-based community, school or local history group with an idea for commemorative activities – such as marking local connections with an exhibition or interpreting WW100 through an arts or community project – you’ll be able to access support through our Community Grants scheme.
