The event is being held at Kilbirnie Park on Sunday 23 March, and we’re helping to get kids ready with some great training sessions.

At Keith Spry Pool our TRI NZ-accredited coach will help kids to get on top of wave starts, pack swimming, transitions (swim to bike), bike skills, run drills and course tactics.

These sessions are on 21 January, 9 and 23 February, with a Dash and Splash event on 2 March.

At ASB Sports Centre, training days are on this Friday and 28 January for swimming, cycling and running. Swim training starts tomorrow at Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre. Weekly half-hour sessions for all age groups participating in the triathlon are on until 19 March. All abilities are welcome. One-on-one classes are also available.

Swim training is also on at Tawa Pool from 7 February and Karori Pool from 9 February. Tawa Pool offers transition training on 9 March.

You can go into a draw to win a Weet-Bix Merchandise Pack or free entry into the Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon by booking training sessions. For details and to book, see:
