Game Masters Exhibition Free Day

Were you a Nintendo or a Sega kid? Or does your memory reach back to Atari days of old? Either way - you’ll love Te Papa’s flagship exhibition, Game Masters.
Wellington residents can once again see the big exhibition at Te Papa for free on Thursday 14 March.
The free entry offer is part of our sponsorship agreement with Te Papa, and it’s also a chance to thank ratepayers for their ongoing contributions to the national museum.
To gain entry, all you need is to provide proof of address. This can be a utilities bill, rates bill or your Wellington City Libraries card.
Te Papa will be open until 9pm - so no one misses out. Be prepared for queues though - there has often been up to an hour’s wait for entry on previous ‘free’ days.
