Tree planting at Tarakena Bay
There are a number of volunteer groups in Wellington that focus on environmental projects in Council parks and reserves.
Some of these groups are carrying out winter plantings.
Use the contact lists for your area if you would like to join and/or help with winter plantings. Although some details are provided in the lists below, you will need to contact the group for exact details of time, location and other requirements.
Alternatively, you can contact the Senior Park Ranger to discuss creating your own group.
