Nairnville Recreation Centre, outside
Nairnville Recreation Centre is one of New Zealand's best recreation centres, awarded the Win/Win Facility Award for Best Recreation Centre in New Zealand in 2000.
It is located in Nairnville Park, on the corner of Cockayne Road and Lucknow Terrace, Khandallah.
Facilities
- Multi-purpose sports hall - available for hire and suitable for basketball, netball, volleyball, and badminton.
- Squash court - available for public use. To book, phone the centre.
- Large community room - available for hire. Includes kitchen facilities.
Nairnville Recreation Centre, inside
The centre offers many courses and activities that cater to a range of age groups from pre-schoolers to seniors. Courses coincide with the school term. Full-care programmes are offered during the school holidays and the facility is also a popular venue for children's birthday parties.
