The Otari-Wilton's Bush Trust runs monthly walks for members and visitors.

Walks are free to Trust members, and cost $3 for visitors.

  • Plants that Poison, Maim and Kill
    Sunday 22 November, 2.00pm
    Join Otari Curator-Manager Rewi Elliot for a look at some of New Zealand's less pleasant native plants.
  • Blue Trail
    Sunday 27 December, 2.00pm
    A two-hour forest walk that includes a viewing of an 800-year-old rimu. Steep with some steps. Meet at Otari Information centre. Cost: $3.
  • Kauri Grove and Old Pukatea Trees
    Sunday 24 January, 2.00pm
    View a 70-year-old kauri grove and ancient pukatea trees on this two-hour walk that's steep with steps. Good shoes are recommended. Meet at Otari Information Centre. Cost: $3.

Guided Tours

Guided tours are available for groups of all sizes. Experienced guides lead tours that are tailored to each group. Cost: $3 - $10.
