The Otari-Wilton's Bush Trust runs monthly walks for members and visitors.

Walks are free to Trust members, and cost $3 for visitors.

  • Pseudopanax and its Hybrids
    Sunday 28 March, 2.00pm
    Leon Perrie leads a walk looking at Pseudopanax and discusses his current research on them.
    Cost: $3.
  • The Treasure Trail
    Sunday 25 April, 2.00pm
    An easy walk along the upper level at Otari, not far from Wilton Road, beginning in Job Wilton's reserve and ending at the lookout, where you can enjoy extensive views of original and secondary native forest. Starts at the Information Centre. Cost: $3.

Seminars

These are held throughout March at the Information Centre on Tuesdays at 7.30pm. Gold coin donation.

The theme of the seminars is "Visions" - celebrating local people who have had visions of enhancing the environment, protecting the biodiversity and educating the public, and have then worked to make these visions a reality.

Guided Tours

Guided tours are available for groups of all sizes. Experienced guides lead tours that are tailored to each group. Cost: $3 - $10.
