Chinese settlement in New Zealand is explored at Toi Pōneke through a collection of collages, paper-cuttings, and three-dimensional dioramas.

Highlighting this exhibition from third-generation Kiwi Kerry Ann Lee is a lavishly illustrated artist book solely comprised of cut-paper, paint, found text and images.

Admission is free.

Hire

The gallery can be hired for arts-related functions, lectures and meetings, dance performances and corporate events. The space accommodates up to 70 people seated and 140 standing. Kitchen facilities are adjacent to the gallery.

Hire rates:

  • $100 per evening
  • $100 per half day
  • $200 per day

Rates include GST.

Gallery Facilities

The gallery is equipped with a sound system, microphone and stand, data projector and DVD player.
