How to book a sportsground in Wellington.
Golf practice and dogs are not allowed at Council sportsfields.
All Wellington City Council sportsgrounds are smoke-free areas.
Book a sportsground
Schools and sports clubs often book sportsgrounds for games and practices. Businesses and community groups can also book grounds for activities and team-building days.
Book in advance
You need to give us at least 5 working days notice.
Booking in advance means we can prepare the grounds, and unlock and clean toilets and changing rooms if needed.
Fees
Fees vary depending on the level of field needed and time of year. Discounts for schools can be negotiated.
