2014 Sport & Recreation End of Year Celebration

Come along to the 2014 Sport and Recreation End of Year Celebration!

Celebrate the highlights of the year and acknowledge the contribution that sports organisations, clubs and volunteers make towards sport and recreation in our region. It’s also a great networking opportunity.

Guest speakers for the evening are the Kennett Brothers, mountain biking and cycling pioneers.

Sport and recreation forum

Each year the Council holds this forum with the aim of strengthening relationships and improving communication with sport and recreation organisations in Wellington.

The forum is open to representatives from Wellington sport and recreation organisations , including:

  • clubs
  • recreational groups
  • regional and national organisations
  • informal recreation users
  • anyone interested in getting involved.
