The Otari-Wilton's Bush Trust runs monthly walks for members and visitors.
Walks are free to Trust members, and cost $3 for visitors.
Mosses, liverworts and lichens
2pm, Sunday 23 November
Join us on the Nature Walk to see some of the smaller plants that thrive in Otari. Learn why these non-vascular plants used to be called cryptogams, and be introduced to a few of them by name on this two-hour walk. Bring a magnifying glass if you have one – otherwise we have a few for you to use. There are steps so wear good shoes. Meet at the Information Centre.
A variety of botanical topics will be presented by the Otari-Wilton’s Bush Trust in a series of seminars in March.
When: Tuesdays at 7.30pm
Where: Information Centre
Cost: Koha / gold coin
Details of the seminar topics will be available by the end of January.
