Community Gardens

Wellington has over 30 community gardens on Council and privately-owned land. These gardens are run by volunteers in the community for the benefit of the community.

Adopt a Fruit Tree

In 2014, we ran a successful pilot project, planting 36 trees around the city which are looked after by community 'guardians'.

In 2015, sites will be selected in May and the trees planted between June and August.
