Entrance and exit points: End of Darlington Road, and several access points off both Nevay Road and Main Road in Miramar.
Brief description: The tracks have been built by volunteers and are used for walking and mountain biking, and zig-zag the slopes at an easy gradient through well-established native bush.
A children’s bike circuit is located at the Maupuia Reservoirs (off Main Road) as well as a ‘pump’ biking track.
Parking: Limited parking at all entrances.
Accessibility: Tracks have an easy gradient.
Dogs: Dogs must be kept on a leash.
Mountain biking: Tracks have been built by the Miramar Track Project, a small group of mainly local mountain bikers.
Track names such Bootleg, Conviction and Jail Brake reflect the site's location immediately below Wellington Prison.
An easy, grade 2 bike trail for beginner bikers has been developed. Parents with baby buggies and pushed wheelchair users can also use this trail.
