School-aged Children

Classes for school-aged children include art, futsal, gym, skateboarding, diving and swimming.

The following courses are available for school-aged children:

Active fun play

A safe and friendly environment filled with soft play equipment for your school child to use.

There's no need to book, just turn up on the day during term time. Children must be supervised at all times.

Art

Art and craft workshops that combine imagination with painting, drawing techniques and clay construction.

Kiwi gym

Children will learn and develop basic gymnastic skills of balance, locomotion, rotation, springs and landings.

Skateboarding - learn to skateboard

Beginners learn and develop basic skateboarding skills, including skateboard maintenance and basic tricks. Intermediate beginners build on skills learnt in beginners class, including more technical tricks and how to use ramps and obstacles.

All protective equipment provided free of charge. Skateboards are not provided. Bookings required.

Springboard diving

Teaches the necessary safety skills and goes on to progressively develop diving ability.

Beginners diving builds body control and awareness before developing basic skills using the 1m springboard. Intermediate diving progresses to advanced movements using the 1m and 3m springboards. Advanced diving prepares for club diving and competition.

Prerequisite: Competent in deep water

Variety sports

Develops coordination, ball skills, body awareness and self-esteem through team games that encourage cooperation and interaction. Sports include basketball, cricket, volleyball, rippa rugby, hockey, soccer, and t-ball.
