Adelaide Road
Wellington City Council is investigating opportunities for future growth and development of the northern end of Adelaide Road between the Basin Reserve and John Street intersection.
The project aims to develop a framework that will guide the development of this area over the next 20 years, and will identify how future population, residential, retail and business growth can be planned for and managed.
The Adelaide Road area is identified in the Council's Urban Development Strategy as an area for more intensive housing and employment development.
