RESOLUTION TO EXCLUDE THE PUBLIC
THAT the Strategy and Policy Committee pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987, exclude the public from the following part of the proceedings of this meeting namely:
Report 6 – Reserve Acquisition
Grounds: Section 48(1)(a) That the public conduct of this item would be likely to result in the disclosure of information for which good reason for withholding would exist under Section 7.
Reason: Section 7(2)(i) To enable the Council to carry out, without prejudice or disadvantage, negotiations of a commercial nature.
Report 7 - Road Acquisition and Land Exchange Proposal
Grounds: Section 48(1)(a) That the public conduct of this item would be likely to result in the disclosure of information for which good reason for withholding would exist under Section 7.
Reason: Section 72(b)(ii) To protect information where the making available of the information would be likely to unreasonably prejudice the commercial position of the person who supplied or who is the subject of the information.
