This is the primary forum for advice to the Council during the developmental stages for natural environment policy, planning and asset management matters, including for energy and waste. The group is not the sole representative of the community’s views, but provides a balanced commentary on direction and topical issues. In addition to its 15 core members, our two Treaty partners (the Wellington Tenths Trust and Te Rünanga o Ngati Toa), the Greater Wellington Regional Council and the Wellington City Youth Council are represented.
