I propose a change to the top of The Rigi to stop people going down it (eg, blocking off the top entrance and making the rest two-way so the residents can drive all the way up) or blocking off the road during the morning peak time. |
| Background information: |
The Rigi is often used as a shortcut by many drivers going between Karori and the City. This causes traffic disruptions during peak times and people turning down The Rigi hold up traffic because it is a narrow entrance and has a speed bump. The normal way around is perfectly fine and the time saved by going down The Rigi is minimal at best.
