I would like to suggest dogs should be allowed to walk unleashed between agreed hours. I suggest before 9am and after 6pm. This area could start after the small Chapel. This would be similar to those areas that allow dogs on beaches. |
| Background information: |
The Karori Cemetery is now a credit to the Council and cemetery staff, it is a beautiful place to walk and it seems a shame to restrict its use to one of the major group of users especially during those hours when no one else uses it. My Grandparents are buried there and I know they would love this space being used as a happy recreational area.
