The Council makes many important decisions which affect a wide variety of people across the city.

In order to make the best possible decisions, the Council relies on participation and feedback from Wellingtonians themselves.

Giving the Council your input is one way you can contribute to Wellington city and help the Council to remain fair and effective.

You can give your input by:

  • contacting individual Councillors directly
  • speaking at Council meetings
  • making submissions and offering petitions.
