| Datacom's Wellington Contact Centre |
|
Local IT company Datacom has had no trouble finding talented staff for its new Wellington Contact Centre. The centre is Datacom’s second - they have a long-established one in Auckland, but customer demand meant opening one in the capital was essential. The centre is busy servicing three key clients including New Zealand Post and Tranz Scenic.
“We pride ourselves on our customer service ethic,” says Datacom Contact Centre Operations Manager Lynne Hayman. “We want to help our clients increase their profits by delivering unparalleled customer service.”
Growth in Staff
“Most of our staff are young, full of energy and enthusiasm, with an understanding of IT and customer service,” says Lynne. “Datacom recognises the need to continually grow and develop our people and this is an essential part of our business.”
The centre now employs around 80 staff. Lynne believes the future is bright for contact centres. “It’s definitely a growth area for Datacom and we believe that by being 100% committed to our customers and by constantly looking at ways to improve we will continue to grow.”
